About the Event
Learn about the Saranac Lake Whitewater Park Project, part of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) designed to enhance Saranac Lake’s paddling culture and bring vitality to the downtown area. This community-driven project plans to modify a section of the Saranac River near the Route 3 LaPan Bridge, creating whitewater features including a standing wave suitable for all types of watercraft, such as kayaks, canoes, rafts, and SUPs.

The project will also focus on natural streambed rehabilitation, shoreline restoration for fish and wildlife habitats, and safe public river access. Join this session to engage with project leaders, share your feedback, and learn how this park will support both ecological and economic growth for Saranac Lake!
