Fall in Saranac Lake
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

Fall in love with life

The love affair with fall in Saranac Lake is real. It is a season of transition, a switching of gears. From the full throttle immersion of summer to a more laid back pace.

It is about waking up early to chilled air and misty waters. It is about cozying up with a blanket and watching the leaves fall. It is about pouring into your favorite fleece and walking into town for a cup of hot coffee. It is about taking your sweet time and relishing in all your favorites.

Fall in love with colors

And undoubtedly, the colors of fall will capture your heart as well. The first to turn will be the Red Maple, true to its name, bright red in color. Then watch for Sugar Maple in a variety of gorgeous red, orange, and yellow hues; Quaking Aspen in vibrant yellow; and American Beech will follow, with their reddish brown leaves that hang on, crispy and waxy, all winter long.

Fall in love with the good stuff

From a scenic hike up one of the Saranac Lake 6ers to a stunning paddle down the Saranac River, we have got the goods fall was made for! We have mountain biking with leaves under your tires, and road cycling with vistas in every direction. We have art galleries ready for cool weather browsing and an Adirondack Carousel that will warm you with a smile. And we have a classic — The Great Adk Corn Maze, for quintessential fall fun for all ages!

Fall in Saranac Lake is an effortless attraction that never tires. How's that for true love?!
