BOOK YOUR TRIP
Wiley's Flies

Wiley's Flies is located in the heart of the Adirondacks in Ray Brook, NY right in the middle of Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. We offer the most diversified trips in the Adirondacks by floating 11 different river systems for Trout, Bass, Northern Pike, Musky or Landlock Salmon. Depending on location we use a hardside drift boat or one of our nine rafts. We also offer wade fishing trips on big streams and tiny streams that no one talks about for native Brook Trout and trips up the Saranac Lake chain on our 22' pontoon boat. Fly or spin fishing is available on all trips and we provide everything you need. We also have a motel which offers fish and stay free packages so be sure to ask as space is limited.

Ever wanted to try ice fishing? We do that too! This is a great way to spend a few hours outdoors during the winter months when you are visiting the Adirondacks. We have over 40 years of local knowledge and our trips start as  (2) Introduction into the sport. We will set up a portable shanty with heat and show you how to drill the holes, set up tip ups and jig for fish using a vexlor (fish finder) for locating the fish. When setting a tip up on the ice it straddles the hole and has a reel in the water attached to a spring loaded flag, which "pops" when a fish takes the bait so be sure to keep your eyes peeled!
