North Country New Year 2025 

Thank you for making the third annual North Country New Year a resounding success! This year’s event built on the excitement of our inaugural celebration, blending cherished traditions with fresh new additions. The joy and camaraderie of the evening truly showcased the spirit of Saranac Lake.

Looking to be a part of the North Country New Year, and have fun doing it? Sign up to be a volunteer, or join our committee to help make the new year spectacular! Fill out the form, choose what time you’d like to help, and voila! You’re part of the team. Volunteers will help sell buttons, give information to patrons, and maintain venues all around town.

Let's ring in the New Year together at North Country New Year! Mark your calendars, spread the word, and get ready for an incredible celebration that will kickstart the year with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

The 2025 lineup included:

• Grammy nominated Professor Louie & the Crowmatix headlining Town Hall 

• Magic show by Alakazam

• Local music from The Allens

• Ever-popular local favorites, the ‘50s/’60s revivalists Frankie & the Moonlighters

• Hilarious comedy act by Moody McCarthy and Completely Stranded

• Back again this year, Kids' Carnival with Scotto the Balloon Wizard, Circus with Sammy, Rainbow Sue, Joe Ferris, and a special visit from the Adirondack Sky Center planetarium! We can't forget to mention Jeff Boyer's Big Bubble Bonanza will be back! 

• Ice skating at the Saranac Lake Civic Center

• Game night and hot chocolate bar at Historic Saranac Lake's Laboratory Museum

• Dance lessons at the Dance Sanctuary

• Rides on the Adirondack Carousel

• Breathtaking fire dancing by Smoke Show Fire Co.

• A spectacular Fireworks Display 

• Ms. Rebecca and Friends: a children's sing along with arts and crafts at St. Bernard's School 

Admission 2025

The artfully designed sticker serves as your admission to all events during North Country New Year! Buttons can be picked up at the Harrietstown Town Hall/Welcome Center on December 31st. Please ensure you bring proof of purchase.

Admission Rates (Stickers): 

• $20 per person per sticker
• $15 for seniors per sticker 
• Free sticker for children under 18
