All trees grown at the Moody Tree Farm are planted for the specific purpose of one day becoming your Christmas tree. Seedlings are planted each Spring in transplant beds, then when mature enough planted in the field. Our trees are organically fertilized and never treated with harmful chemicals. The trees are hand trimmed each year to keep their natural conical shape. It takes nine to ten years in the field to produce a 6-7 foot Christmas tree.
In addition to Christmas trees, the Moody's raise Texas Longhorne cattle, pigs, goats and American Quarter Horses. The animals bring great joy to the local residents and visitors to the farm. Stop by just to see them!
