Spencer Boatworks was founded over 30 years ago with the passion and purpose of designing, restoring, and building mahogany boats. Through hard work, attention to detail, and a commitment to craftsmanship, Spencer Boatworks designs and builds custom wooden boats, offers complete restoration services for antique and classic boats and maintains a large inventory of supplies and vintage parts.

With over 75 years combined experience, we at Spencer Boatworks have the knowledge to tackle any marine challenge. Whether it’s service, restoration, custom mahogany boat building, mechanical, upholstery, storage or just a simple varnish touch-up, Spencer Boatworks can complete the job to award-winning standards.

Jay Annis, owner of Spencer Boatworks, holds a degree in Naval Architecture. He is responsible for many of the newer custom designed Spencers.
