Follensby Clear Pond boat launch
Known by locals as the Spider Creek launch site, the Follensby Clear Pond boat launch gives access to its namesake, as well as other popular ponds in the Fish Creek Campground area.
How to get there
The launch is located on the southern end of Follensby Clear Pond, just east of Fish Creek Campground on NY-30. Parking is on the north side of the road, surrounded by trees, and fits 10-15 vehicles.
Boat launch
There is a dock at the launch site, which helps putting in and taking out boats easy on a busy day. Paddling south in Spider Creek allows for access to Upper Saranac Lake and Fish Creek Ponds, and paddling north you can island hop and explore Follensby Clear Pond.
