Public Skating
The tradition of free Public Skating, open to all ages, is back at the Saranac Lake Civic Center! Check the master calendar for upcoming dates and times. Open skate will generally be every Sunday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., with a few exceptions when there are large events at the Civic Center. Skate rentals are available. Registration is required. Special sessions will include Tykes On Ice for skaters under 5 years old, Silver Skaters, for those 50+, and special Community Skate dates surrounding the holidays!

- Saturday, January 17 - 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Public Skating (Hudson Headwater Health)
- Monday, January 19 - 2:45 PM - 3:45 PM Holiday Skating (Hudson Headwaters Health)
- Tuesday, January 20 - 2:45 PM - 3:45 PM Tyles on Ice (Hudson Headwaters Health)
- Saturday, January 24 - 6:45 PM - 7:45 PM Public Skating (North Country Community College)
- Friday, January 30- 4: 00 PM - 5: 00 PM Silver Skaters Program (Adirondack Health)
- Saturday, January 31 - 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM - Public Skating (Hudson Headwater Health)

Register for an Upcoming Session!
Registrations will be added below two weeks prior to the dates when public skating is offered. The Civic Center is a non-profit entity - public skating is FREE with an option to donate during registration.
