Make your holidays merry and bright in Lake Placid this December! 

A Lake Placid tradition, the Holiday Village Stroll is a festive weekend perfect for families and couples, set in the winter wonderland of Lake Placid, New York. This three-day event features activities such as a skating party, photos with Santa, a free movie screening, and a fun scavenger hunt.

All Weekend

• Scavenger Hunt-While you’re strolling down Main Street, take the time to hunt for the hidden holiday symbols in select businesses’ windows. For a chance to win a prize, fill out and submit a form online, or pick one up from the Visitor’s Bureau and drop the completed form in Santa’s mailbox at Mid’s Park. 
• Decorating Contest -

  We’re inviting all Lake Placid businesses to join us in celebrating the holiday spirit during Holiday Village Stroll.

  As you stroll around town, look for the biggest and brightest decorations and vote for your favorite storefronts from December 12-14. 

  The winning business will receive a trophy (and bragging rights!)

Friday

• Skating Party in the 1932 Rink at the Olympic Center – 5 pm-6:30pm – FREE and FREE skating rentals 
• Ugly Sweater Party at The Cottage – 6-9pm

Saturday

• Jingle Bell Run at the Mirror Lake Beach House – 8:30am
• Holiday Card Making at The Lake Placid Public Library – 10am-3pm 
• Crafts & Games at the Lake Placid Public Library – 10am-3pm
• Santa's Arrival at Mid's Park – 11am
• Santa Photos at Mid's Park – 11am--12pm
• Meet & Greet at Little Blue House,  11am-4pm
• Wine Tasting at The Boat Tasting Room – 2-5pm
• Tree Lighting and Celebration at Mid's Park – 5pm
• Live Music at the Lake House – 5-8pm

Sunday

• Free Movie (The Polar Express) at the Palace Theatre – 11am
• Free cookies and cocoa with Santa at The Mirror Lake Inn – 11:30am-1pm
• Santa Ski at Whiteface Mountain – 8am-4:30pm – Wear a Santa suit and ski for free!
• Annual Christmas Concert at Adirondack Community Church – 3pm 
• Chris Kringle Caravan throughout Lake Placid – 4pm
