Join mushroom expert Susan Hopkins for a deep dive into the diverse world of fungi at Paul Smith’s College VIC. This advanced mushroom foray is designed for participants with prior knowledge of mushroom species and biodiversity. The program includes a focused discussion on identifying edible, poisonous, and medicinal mushrooms, followed by a guided walk through the forest to observe and study wild fungi in their natural habitat.

After the foray, participants are welcome to stay and explore additional reference materials provided by Susan in the VIC's sunspace for continued learning.

• This is not a beginner’s mushroom program

• Held rain or shine—please dress for the weather

• Participants should be comfortable identifying a variety of mushrooms and using field guides
