Seventy-six percent of people who volunteered in the last year reported feeling healthier from volunteering!  Looking for a way to get involved?  Is making a difference in the lives of children your passion?  Want to make new friends and network with community leaders?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, consider attending a Kiwanis Club meeting, Thursday mornings, 7:40 am, back room of The Blue Moon Café.

The Saranac Lake Kiwanis is dedicated to the children of our community.

Proceeds of fund raising efforts support the annual bike rodeo and free bike helmets, a dictionary for every 3rd grade student, high school scholarships, and numerous donations to other community projects which impact children’s lives.   Kiwanians also participate in such community projects as the Holiday Helpers Christmas program and highway clean-up.  The Saranac Lake Kiwanis works closely with the Aktion Club, a Kiwanis program for adults with disabilities, and North Country Special Olympics.
