NorthWind Fine Arts

NorthWind Fine Arts Gallery opened its doors in June, 2011, and is one of the many exceptional art galleries in Saranac Lake. It is a cooperative gallery with an eclectic group of members showcasing a wide range of media. The gallery moved into its current location, 11 Woodruff Street (formerly Ampersound) in downtown Saranac Lake in November, 2013.

Member artists:

HEIDI GUTERSLOH: oil paintings

CATHY HARTUNG: watercolor and acrylic painting

RUSS HARTUNG: landscape and nature photography

MARY WOODCOCK JOHNSON: watercolor and acrylic

KRISTINA MUELLER: Jeweler/Metalsmith

LEE ANN SPORN: watercolor, pencil drawings and oil painting

SUSAN WHITEMAN: pastels and oil

Stop by to view the latest works by these Adirondack artists. There is a new featured artist or group exhibit each month, and the gallery hosts an opening reception (free to the public) on the first Friday of each month, from 5-7 pm. This is a great time to relax and meet the artists, and perhaps take home an original creation. The gallery is family, pet, art lover, hiker, biker, fisherman, kayaker, and everyone friendly! Come as you are! Light refreshments are served on opening nights.
